In this merry romp, the irrepressible rogue Sir John Falstaff hatches a harebrained scheme to woo two wealthy wives in hopes to secure their fortunes. Unbeknownst to him, these merry wives craft clever retaliations to rebuke his advances. The result is a whirlwind of misadventures and bellyaching laughter. As the story unfolds, we witness a colorful array of characters including a Welsh priest, a zany French swordsman, and a jealous husband in disguise. Shakespeare’s witty banter and comedic escapades shine through, making The Merry Wives of Windsor a charming celebration of love, laughter, and the craft of clever deception.

“subUrbia” by Eric Bogosian follows a group of disenchanted suburban youths as they navigate the complexities of life, relationships, and their uncertain futures in the backdrop of a convenience store parking lot. With themes of alienation, disillusionment, and the search for meaning, this play offers a poignant reflection on the challenges of adulthood. Featuring Devin Romero as Jeff.

First performed 2,500 years ago, this trilogy of Greek tragedies is foundational to all western theater and speaks to us today from across the centuries. Following the vicissitudes of the infamous House of Atreus, starting with the murder of Agamemnon at the hands of his wife Clytemnestra, the Oresteia asks what sort of society do we want: a vindictive, vengeful society or one where the rule of law prevails? Featuring Devin Romero as Orestes.

A retelling of an ancient myth.
Even in a myth’s thousandth telling, nothing is set in stone.
In this witty, radical reimagining of the Greek myth of the Minotaur, the black-and-white story of a hero vanquishing a monster begins to unravel. Are we truly responsible for our actions? Is the mission to slay a beast truly just?
The cast consists of Devin Romero, Em Whitworth, Dante Jayce, Robert Maisonett, Liz Dutton and Emerson Buchholtz.

Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing shows young lovers Claudio and Hero letting their passions of love turn to jealousy and pain. Meanwhile, arch enemies Benedick and Beatrice question if the disdain they have for each other is really something deeper and romantic. Will Claudio and Hero find love for each other again? Will Benedick and Beatrice stop fighting long enough to admit that they don't hate each other? Come along as this hilarious comedy is presented in the Stag & Lion style.
The cast features Devin Romero as Claudio, Aurelea as Hero, Linus Gelber as Leonato, Tom O'Hare as Don Pedro, John Lichtwalt as Don Jon and Anuj Parikh as Dogberry. The rest of the company includes Claire Tyers, Addie Gomez, William English, Charlie Macandrew, Rob Spiker, Jim Grant, Don McManus, Abhishek Ojha, Travis Martin and Roland Netzer. It is directed by Joshua Koehn and AD'd by Megan Lennon as part of the Stag & Lion Theatre Company.
